** TECHNICAL UPDATE**
If you are having issues with your outgoing mail on your airxcess.net email account, please go to your email program (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mail, etc) and go to the Account Settings and change the “Outgoing Mail Server” port from 25 to 587, and save the changes. You must also be sure that the option for “Outgoing Server Requires Authentication” is checked. Outgoing server uses the same PASSWORD authentication as the Incoming sever. This should correct your issue. If you are still having issues on your airxcess.net email, use the form below with details of the problem and submit it to us to look over for you. Thank you.
Please use this form if you want to setup an Airxcess.net email address. Every customer may have 1 free Airxcess email address. Please give two username options in the request. However, we do highly recommend using one of the popular email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL or others, as they provide great spam filtering, storage and access options. We are focused on providing Internet service and email is more of a convenience for our customers. It is important that you write down and keep your email account information in case you change computers or email programs. It is not our responsibility to maintain those records especially since you can change your password at anytime without our help.
When setting up your POP Email account on your computer’s email program, please remember these important settings so your email program will perform properly.
- Account Username is your ‘entire’ email address (username@airxcess.net)
- Incoming Server: pop.airxcess.net
- Outgoing Server: smtp.airxcess.net
- Find and check the box “my outgoing mail server requires authentication” and “use same authentication as my incoming mail server”
- We DO NOT USE SSL authentication! Do not check this option.
Be sure to delete old or junk emails to prevent exceeding your mailbox capacity.
